How to take care of your handmade items?Please be conscious when you wear crochet items with a sharp jewelry or some other type of accessories. You may cause damage. Crochet items can easily get stuck in your accessoires.
How to wash your crochet items?The best way to wash your handmade crochet items is to wash it by hand.Get a bowl large enough for the item you want to wash. Fill the bowl with water. Use a little detergent. Be careful with detergent that contains bleaching particles (Such as detergent for white clothes). Adding fabric softener is often not necessary and is optional. Hand wash the item and rinse it with water so that all products are rinsed out.What temperature do I use?This depends on the type of fabric you want to wash.If you made your own crochet piece you can look at the label of the yarn you used.The label contains washing instructions.If you bought a handmade item please look for the instructions the maker has provided for you.If you don't have a yarn label and you have some doubts about what temperature to use, use a temperature up to 30 degrees. This is how you prevent damage.How to dry your crochet item?After you handwashed your item the best way to dry it is to lay the item flat.If you don't lay it flat the item can be stretched by the weight of the water.The process of drying takes quite a bit of time.You can speed the process by:1. Take a big towel and place the washed item on it.2. Take another towel and place it on the item.3. Genlty press both towels towards eachother to get rid of acces water (Don't wring it).How to store your items?The best way to store your handmade clothing is to lay the item flat.This way you can prevent stretching.
